Help Lexi heal

Hi, my Name is Donovan. Lexi is my wife. We have only been married since June but tragedy has already struck us.

On March 12th Lexi was involved in a car accident and the vehicle caught fire. Thankfully some passing vehicles saw the accident and pulled her out of the burning car before she lost her life, but she has sustained substantial burns that will require surgery and months of healing before she can hope to regain a normal life again.

This leaves me with the difficult task of juggling work and taking care of her for the forseeable future. I will be missing 2 or 3 days of work a week taking her to all the treatments she will require and she will be out of work for an indefinite amount of time. This leaves us facing a mountain of doctor bills, a totaled car, and most threatening, loosing our apartment before we even hit our 1 year anniversary. I am making this gofundme in an attempt to alleviate some of the financial stress so that I can provide a safe and clean enviroment for her to live in while she heals. The goal I set is 3 months rent, but if met I hope to stretch the donations as far as possible by continuing to work as much as I can and maybe with a little luck and by the grace of anyone willing to donate it will be enough to fill the void made by this accident 6 months to a year.
