Help Lexi Walk Again: Donate for Her Recovery
Donation protected
An unimaginable nightmare has become a reality for my brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Kayla, and especially Lexi, their 17 yo beautiful, active, strong daughter; also a sister, granddaughter, great granddaughter, niece, cousin to so many that love her! Lexi woke up Saturday morning unable to walk. She was rushed to the local hospital then transferred to Mercy, where she received the diagnosis of a rare neuroimmune disease called transverse myelitis. She has swelling on her spinal cord that has caused paralysis of her lower body. She is receiving high dose steroids and further evaluation and will start rehabilitation to regain her strength and function. Lexi has a long road to recovery but we know God is good and Lexi has tons of prayer warriors praying for her! All support—whether a prayer, card, text, or FB comment, is greatly appreciated. Any donations raised will support the unexpected financial burden this will have on them and help towards medical bills as they are without insurance.
A FB page called “Love for Lexi: Path to healing”Love for Lexi Path to Healing has been started by Kayla, to give updates on Lexi’s progress. Please follow there to get the latest updates and express your continued support! Thank you in advance for your generosity!
