Help Lexie Recover from Tragic Loss

Lexie is the kindest soul that has brought joy to countless families through her more than 20 years of breeding the highest quality dogs. She loves and cares for each dog in her care beyond measure before they are intentionally matched with their perfect humans through a long and carefully thought-out process. Lexie is a dedicated and humble breeder that puts endless amounts of blood, sweat, and tears into every puppy she brings into the world.

Now, Lexie needs the support of her village. In July, she experienced the ultimate tragic loss of some of her beloved dogs while at an AKC show through a devastating accident. Because this loss happened during an AKC event, AKC has fined her $5,000 and suspended her for one year, which will not start until her fine is paid. In addition to this fine, Lexie lost upwards of $20,000 of her dogs and incurred another $7,000 in vet bills. Lexie is currently fighting her own medical illness in addition to the intense grief and guilt from the loss of her beloved dogs. With this suspension, Lexie will not be able to breed or show any of her dogs and this applies to any dogs she co-owns. We need to help her get this fine paid as soon as possible so her suspension time can begin and she can move towards finding peace and normalcy in her life as well as begin to resume providing families with the love her breeding brings.
