Help Lia Kick Cervical Cancer to the Kerb !
Update -
As many of you know Lia finished intensive chemotherapy, radiation and brachytherapy back in may 2021 and needed to wait 4 months to know if it worked ….
In that time we celebrated Lia’s 40th birthday.
A amazing girls week at Airlie beach making sure Lia ticked off her bucket list like visiting the icon white haven beach, snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef, skydiving over the amazing islands of the Whitsundays. Making sure there was lots of relaxing, food and beautiful beaches and waterfalls .
Within a few days of returning home to Victoria the pain came back like nothing she had experience before and straight off to hospital she went .
Lia had bloodwork , pain relief and CT scan . The results came up Inconclusive so back to the oncologists which they requested a MRI and PET scan to best see what was going on .
a few days later Lia got the results ………
GOOD NEWS the 7 cm tumour was a goner also the lymph nodes in her pelvis has no cancer .
BAD NEWS - unfortunately the cancer has moved to the liver and to her higher lymph node and to be told it’s incurable.
This aggressive moving cancer is working its way around her body extremely fast .
doctors have said approximately a couple years left….. she is going to fight tooth and nail to prove them wrong .
Lia now is on three different chemotherapy medications which are so strong she needs three weeks to recover before the next session . She will lose her hair , become tired , weak and very sick .
She is the most amazing mum , sister , daughter and friend , always checking in on everyone else whist going thru cancer and a separation from her husband and is now a single mother of three gorgeous kids 17,15 and a three-year old.
Lia needs our help , Working to provide for her babies, while fighting for her life is going to be very difficult.
We would greatly appreciate any Financial support in this difficult time .
Please share and get Lia story out there .
Ladies please don’t put your paps smears off .
Thank you so much .

On the 2nd of March 2021 my beautiful friend Lia Jaielka was diagnosed with Cervial Cancer.
She has a fast growing 7cm Tumor on her cervix and unfortunately it has spread to her Lymph nodes. Absolutely heartbreaking news.
After lots of test and holding onto hope that they can just take it all out, this isn’t a possibility for Lia .
The treatment advised was intense 5 weeks of Radiotherapy and one session a week of chemotherapy followed on with Brachytherapy all in Melbourne, which is 2 and half hours from her home in Gippsland.
Lia is the kind of person to go up and beyond for anyone and everyone, she the most hard working human, mother, wife and friend I have ever met.
In November 2019 Lia married her best mate Antoni, they have 6 amazing children between them, which Lia has dedicated all her free time to giving them the best life possible all while running her own business.
Lia is always helping others and supporting her local community, but it’s time we help her and her family thru this hard time.
Living hours from treatment makes it hard on Lia and her family , medical cost add up, on top of day to day living as you could imagine the stress and worry as well as fighting this .
Ant has stayed home to try and keep them afloat but this means Lia doesn’t have her support person when she needs it the most.
Having your own business can mean not a lot of income and their now down to one wage, they are doing the best they can in a crappy situation.
Any financial help you’re able to provide will take any pressure off Lia and her family and help them be together and overcome this huge battle.
Please remember to get your Pap smears ladies .
Any help would be greatly appreciated
