Help Liam Battle Beckers Muscular Dystrophy

Hello,

1st let me start by saying thank you for taking the moment to review this story.

My hope is to raise money for my dear friend and her husband to assist with costs in their son’s newly diagnosed Beckers Muscular Dystrophy.

Liam. Liam came into this world fighting as a premie. Born at 28 weeks weighing 2lbs 3oz. See Liam was born to 2 amazing people who serve in the military, his will to fight is in his blood.

My beautiful friend and her husband have the biggest hearts. Shortly after returning from deployment in 2016 with a 3 month old premie on oxygen they also took custody of Gabby’s 8 siblings ranging in age. See instead of living life like a typical 21 year old in Wisconsin, Gabby and her husband Cory worked hard to provide a safe loving environment for children.

Liam, got to walk down the aisle with his little brother (that is his best friend ) Landon in 2023 for his parents to finally wed. Although Liam has struggled with height and weight throughout his 7 years of life being a premie he has been happy and healthy. Liam loves soccer and video games.

Recently, Gabby and Cory have a new war to battle together. In May of 2024 Liam became sick and was admitted. Liam’s pediatrician was concerned with how big his calves were. In June of 2024 Liam began complaining about leg pain. This is when doctor’s appointments became a regular environment for this young boy and his parents. Liam had to endure many needle pokes and tests praying for an answer. In July of 2024 Liam became weaker during physical activity, he would collapse due to his legs getting tired. On July 23rd of 2024 Cory and Gabby received the heart drenching news that their beloved baby boy has Beckers Muscular Dystrophy. (BMD )

There is no tell in how fast or slow this will progress. Liam is now wearing leg braces on a daily basis and using heating pads. The doctor’s appointments will be never ending. At the end of August Liam has to see specialists to determine if it has affected his heart yet. This beautiful baby boy will be wheelchair bound. Instead of getting ready for his 2nd grade school year he is fighting to run and play. Liam’s golden 8th Birthday is in October of 2024 he wants to go to Disney World.

My hope is raise money to make this strong sweet baby boy‘s dream come true along with provide some kind of relief to his parents.

Gabby and Cory you two are the strongest, hard working people I know. Your beautiful family deserves the world. I hope any proceeds find you some sort of relief during this hard time. I love you guys!!!
