HELP LIAM IN HIS FIGHT TO BEAT CANCER

Liam is a beautiful, fun, energetic, determined, three-year-old little boy who  lights up the room; his smile and laugh will  melt your heart.  Right now he  is facing a fight no child should ever have to face.  In June of this year, Liam was diagnosed with Juvenile Myelomonocytic Leukemia (JMML), a serious and very rare type of leukemia.  A childhood cancer diagnosis brings with it fears, uncertainty and a never-ending fight to find cures.

At age 3 Liam does not understand the journey ahead of him.  The foreseeable future will be filled with months in a hospital away from his home and family: aunts, uncles, cousins, school friends and his little buddy, Stella, his Pug.  The world as he knows it will be changed, but with the help of amazing doctors, his family and our faith Liam will fight and beat this.

Chemotherapy alone cannot combat JMML and a bone marrow transplant is the only hope for success. Liam is facing a few rounds of chemotherapy followed by the transplant. He will need to be in the hospital for 2 months while he is undergoing the initial treatment and transplant. Only his  mom and dad will be able to see him during this time.  When released from the hospital, Liam will be at a very high risk of infection and viruses. He will be required to stay home for many months while his immune system recovers.

We realize the financial stress that a medical diagnosis such as leukemia may bring and we want to help relieve some of the financial burden so they can focus on Liam’s care.  We are asking for donations to help Tom and Nicole with all the associated expenses for life-saving medications and treatments that are not covered by insurance.

Please keep Liam, Nicole and Tom in your thoughts and prayers and help them by donating  today and sharing this with friends.

It is not always easy to ask for help but we desperately need any and all the help we can get. No amount is too small. Because of the seriousness of this disease we are asking that you contribute to help Liam as soon as possible.

Liam’s name means Strong Willed Warrior and Protector!  A fitting name for our Superhero!  #LiamStrong
