Help Liam Vargas in NICU
Donation protected
Leah and Alexi were very excited to bring their first child and son, Liam, into the world. Suddenly, everything changed when Leah was 28 weeks and they discovered an abnormality in his umbilical cord that reversed his blood flow, leading to IUGR (intrauterine growth restriction). Leah was rushed to a higher level of care in Sacramento from Modesto for Liam to be delivered safely. Liam was delivered a few days later, and has been striving but has a long road. When he was born, he has had respiratory support via a ventilator and bubble cpap. Although Leah and Alexi live in Modesto, they have been fortunate to use Grandma’s RV to be near Liam in Sacramento during his NICU journey. Alexi and Leah both work in healthcare. Leah is a CNA at Memorial. Alexi is a traveler RN and his contract has been difficult with the complications and time he has had to take off. Any donations toward food, housing, and expenses are much appreciated. Liam will have a long journey in the NICU and any support for him and family is very much appreciated.
