Help Liana Reach Her Musical Goals!!

This summer I am taking on a challenge that I have never done before… I am making an album!!! To make this dream a reality, I need your help! I am fundraising with this GoFundMe page to support this deeply personal project (instead of planning my usual fundraising recital). Read to the end to get all the details!

The past three years have shaped my musicianship and my Christian faith in God. I have become increasingly aware of how much the two are closely and beautifully intertwined. Some people may not agree. Some might even wonder whether an all-pervasive Christian faith inhibits a musician from their full professional potential. In creating this album I hope to give you a chance to consider faith and music the way I do: connected and stronger together! I see this album as a wonderful opportunity to share some of my favourite classical music with my friends/family from my faith world and share some of my favourite worship music with my friends from my music world. My hope is that it will be an album that glorifies God and reaches new people, while also simply piquing/stimulating your creative curiosity!

Creating an album will demand a lot of effort and resources. Finishing my undergraduate degree and preparing for my upcoming Masters degree auditions in the fall/winter will also take significant time, energy, and money. I hope you will consider supporting me in this new way so I can throw myself into this creative endeavor as well as finish my degree at UOttawa!

If you aren’t from Winnipeg, won’t be in the city during this event, or do not feel comfortable with being in-person quite yet, do not fret! I will provide a Livestream option and access to the album online. Feel free to share this fundraiser with your friends and family if you think they might be interested!
