Help Lidia, Ramon, and Little Ariadna Rebuild Their Home

My name is Laura, and I am from Valencia, Spain. I’ve had the privilege of working at the University of Exeter for the past 12 years.

On October 29, 2024, my dear friends Lidia and Ramon lost everything in the devastating flash floods that struck Valencia. Their home was completely swept away, leaving them to start over from nothing. Most heartbreaking of all is their three-year-old daughter, Ariadna, who doesn’t understand why her bed, her toys, and the comfort of home are suddenly gone.

I am reaching out to ask for your generosity in helping this family rebuild and provide a safe, stable environment for Ariadna. Every contribution, no matter the size, will bring them closer to restoring their home and their lives. All funds will go directly toward repairing the structure of the house, and any additional support will help furnish it and bring Ariadna a sense of normalcy, especially over Christmas.
