Help Liesl Fight Cancer

It is difficult to share that my beautiful friend since the 6th grade, Liesl Gamble, has been diagnosed with a rare form of stomach cancer that is resistant to treatment. This GoFundMe will directly help lessen the financial burden of medical expenses as she courageously faces this battle.

Those who have had the privilege of knowing Liesl understand that there is no one more kind, loyal, caring, thoughtful, intelligent, independent, wise, or funny. She will do anything to help others and has the unique gift of making you feel seen, heard, and valued because of her generosity of actions, time, and love. She always remembers people, no matter how infrequent the visits or how little the interaction. Liesl’s wit and wisdom ground and tether friends and family and she is truly one of the best humans I have ever known. Beyond her kindness, Liesl’s smile and zest for life light up a room. Her laughter is infectious, and her quick wit is unmatched.

Liesl is a mother not only to her beautiful and smart daughter Annaliese but has also been an important influence in her nephew, Nick’s life. She is married to her best friend, Jeff and together they have built a beautiful life and family.
