Honoring Karen: Support with Medical & Transitional Expenses

With love and gratitude, we want to share that after 6 months of incredible strength, Karen has peacefully passed away. We are now focusing on using the funds to cover medical bills, funeral expenses, and provide loss of income support during this transition. While in Alabama, taking care of her aunt, Karen developed a severe case of pancreatitis, leading to pancreatic necrosis and is currently in the ICU. We are trying to get her medically transported back up to Virginia so she can recover around friends and family. My parents would never ask for financial help but I am hoping to lift their financial burden during this stressful time.

Karen has helped and cared for so many people in her personal life and working in the healthcare field. We are so grateful for any help we receive and all money raised will go toward medical expenses as she has a long road to recovery ahead.
