Help Lili fund her bone marrow transplant
Donation protected
My friend Lili (Elisabeth) really needs your help, she is a wonderful young lady who lives in the Dominican Republic, she currently works as a bio analyst, she was recently diagnosed with aplastic anemia, a rare condition in which the body stops producing enough new blood cells.
Aplastic anemia develops as a result of bone marrow damage. The damage may be present at birth or occur after exposure to radiation, chemotherapy, toxic chemicals, some drugs, or even infection.
Treatment for aplastic anemia might include medications, blood transfusions or a stem cell transplant, also known as a bone marrow transplant.
So far Lili has failed several medications and multiple blood transfusions. She was recommended to have a bone marrow transplant as the next and last resort in her treatment plan. The procedure could save her life but is costly and unfortunately not covered by her insurance.
I’m asking for your help to help raise the funds she needs to cover her medical expenses.
Every little bit helps, if you’re unable to donate, please help us share her story.
