Help Lily attend a Butler Ballet Summer Intensive

Hello! My name is Lily Ullrich. I am 14 years old and one of my favorite things to do is dance. I have been dancing since the age of 3. I have done tap, jazz, modern, contemporary, musical theater, ballet, and pointe. These past few months have been trying out for many ballet summer intensives. My top two choices were Joffrey and Butler University. When I heard back from Butler, I was ecstatic! (Butler University is also where I would like to go to college) This program would be 4 weeks, 8 hours of dance Monday through Saturday, including a dorm and meals. The issue is that it is $4,600. I have already said to my parents that I would be willing to pay the $1,000 I have in my college funds, but that is still $3,600 we have to pay. Plus I will need 3 pairs of pointe shoes ( roughly $100 each). So yes, this is a very costly program. However, dance is my passion. I want to dance for the rest of my life. And to be able to go to this summer intensive, I would be able to get my foot in the door for other big companies. Even if I get $20 out of this, I would still be so grateful! The fact that others are supporting me to make this happen is all I could ever ask for!
