Help Lina Fight Stage 4 Breast Cancer

Hello friends, family, and strangers,

I (Lina's niece) have created this fundraiser to support my aunty Lina Vaillancourt’s stage 4 breast cancer battle. This news has hit my aunt and the entire family quite hard, both emotionally and financially. My aunt had stage 3 breast cancer several years ago, and it has returned to her liver, lungs, and bones. She has an intellectually disabled daughter, who she is the primary caregiver for and has no extended health coverage. As you can imagine, the bills for travelling to medical appointments, health care, and everyday living costs are piling up.

My aunt is one of the most empathetic and charismatic people you will ever meet. Her smile and presence will light up a room the moment she walks in. She is the person who will always be there for you no matter how she is feeling or what she is going through. Her bravery, strength, and kindness assure me she will not go down without a hard fight.

The road ahead is bumpy and long, but with your support (even if it is just thoughts, prayers, and kind words), I know she can continue to fight hard! This journey will include hospital stays, specialists, and holistic cancer treatment (conventional cancer treatment, integrative therapies, and naturopathic treatments).

My mother has come down to BC to be a caretaker for my aunt and her daughter throughout this process. Therefore, the money that is raised will go directly to all related medical expenses and living costs. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and for any donation or kind words.
