Help Linda and her family recover after a fire....

Hello, my name is Kayli and I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read this story. On the afternoon of March 20th, 2024, Linda Kingston and her family were blindsided by the loss of their family home due to a fire.

Although the cause of the fire has not been determined at this time it has left Linda, her children and her grandchildren without a place to live. As if this loss wasn't devastating enough, they unfortunately lost their family dog Gizmo. Gizmo was cherished dearly by all as he once was the companion of Linda's late husband Donald. Linda and her family were not able to recover much from the house as most things were ruined due to fire or smoke damage.

Linda is known by many in the community as a friendly face. She can be found working behind the register at Stewarts in Canton or eating Sunday breakfast with her kids and grandkids at Hometown Cafe in Madrid. Over the years Linda has opened her home to friends, children and relatives. She is known as a second mom and support system to many children and young adults. Linda will go out of her way to help anyone in need. Her selflessness is truly admirable.

Currently, Linda as well as 3 adults and 3 children are staying in a hotel until other arrangements can be made. Any money donated will be used to secure interim housing, possible renovations, clothing and furniture for Linda and her family.
