Help Linda through a tough time

Edit: her infection has not improved as well as it should have and is now taking herself to Mass General to attempt to avoid getting a mastectomy.

Hi, my name is Jon Paton and I am fundraising for my mom, Linda Towne. She had a recent diagnosis of breast cancer and is now dealing with the effects of that. Most recently she has gone into the hospital with a blood infection and will be out of work for quite some time. Additionally she will be starting radiation as soon as the infection can be taken care of. 

My mom is the kind of person that rises to the occasion and does it with empathy. Whether she is caring for her mother or playing with my son, she does it with all the love she can give. She does a lot for her family and is always the kindest to everyone she meets. She would be mortified to know I am starting this fundraiser for her. But no one is ever prepared for the financial weight and effect that cancer can have on a person's life; and I think she is so deserving to have some of that weight lifted. The medical bills, hospital visits and lack of work is going to add up and I know my mom wants everyone to believe she can do it on her own but she doesn't have to and I know how grateful she will be to have help.
