Help Linda through the Liver Transplant Process

Hi,

We are reaching out in hopes of raising money to help pay for our mom, Linda Wasko’s, medical expenses. She is a loving mother of four, wife, sister, aunt, and friend. She has such an impact on everyone she crosses paths with and leaves a mark on their hearts. Our mom is one’s of the most selfless and caring individuals who would do whatever it takes to lend a helping hand.

Last summer, we noticed frequent swelling in our mom’s ankles, so convinced her to go to her doctor for testing. After numerous tests, we found out that she has cirrhosis of the liver due to a medical condition.

Over the past six months, her disease has progressed and she’s now in liver failure. Just within the last three months, she has had multiple extended hospital stays due the complications of her condition.

We’re starting the Transplant process at the Cleveland Clinic on Monday, March 14th. Her treatment will include lodging and traveling to Cleveland, Ohio from Scranton, PA on a regular basis. Our mom now requires around the clock care from Home Health Aides and Nurses. She is also responsible for the cost of extensive medical care and medications.

Though our mom is so strong, both mentally and physically, this disease has taken over her life and she has a very long road ahead of her. We’re hoping to alleviate some of the financial burden of this process so she can focus on her treatment and getting better.
