Help Lindsay fight stage IV breast cancer

Hello friends and supporters of Lindsay Block. I am Lindsay’s sister-in-law, Sara. As you know, Lindsay has been fighting stage IV breast cancer since August 2020. After a remarkable response to her initial treatments of double mastectomy, radiation, chemotherapy, fallopian tube and ovary removal, and more, she was fortunate to have a long period of showing no evidence of disease.

Unfortunately, her cancer returned in late 2022. Medications she has tried since have not had the same remarkable results as her initial treatments and her recent scans have continued to show progression.

After consulting with breast cancer and radiation oncologists at Mayo Clinic, her next treatment will be specialized proton beam radiation to her brain, spine and cerebrospinal fluid. This treatment is offered at only 40 locations in the United States. We feel very fortunate to have access to it close to home, though not close enough to drive to each day, so Lindsay will stay in Rochester for two weeks.

We are asking for financial support to offset the lodging, gas, food and other out-of-pocket costs Lindsay will incur while in Rochester, and for services like lawn mowing and food delivery while Joe is managing life and the kids at home. Any extra funds will go toward future treatment needs.
