Help Lindsey and Bea transfer their last Embryo
Donation protected
My sister Lindsey and her spouse Bea have been on an IVF journey for several years. They have gone through four IVF cycles and had three losses along the way. If everything goes as planned, they will begin their fifth and final IVF cycle early this year to transfer their last remaining embryo. As some of you know, finding insurance coverage for fertility treatments for those unable to conceive naturally is very difficult. Bea worked at Starbucks for three of their four IVF cycles to gain access to fertility coverage but eventually had to move back to full-time work in the gaming industry as Starbucks did not pay enough hourly to continue. Even with IVF coverage, there were still battles to fight with the insurance companies about what they would pay for. Lindsey and Bea have one last Embryo waiting to be transfered. We want to do everything we can to help them continue on the final stretch of this journey without any delays or cancelations for financial reasons.
Any contributions will be used for ultrasounds and other imaging, blood tests, travel expenses (they travel between doctors in NC and NY), and the transfer itself.
Lindsey and Bea will be wonderful parents and they deserve this last chance to have a child of their own.
