Help Lindsey get cataract surgery&her vision back

Hello, my name is Stephanie and I am creating this fundraiser for a dear friend who is a mom to a beautiful child. She has been suffering from Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW) for several years now, and it has taken a toll on her physical and emotional well-being. Unfortunately, the side effects of TSW have caused her to develop cataracts in both eyes, and she has lost all vision as a result.
For those who don't know, TSW is a condition that occurs when the body becomes addicted to topical steroid creams, which are commonly used to treat skin conditions like eczema. Over time, the body becomes dependent on these creams, and when they are stopped, the body goes into withdrawal, causing severe skin irritation, inflammation, and pain.
I know firsthand how devastating TSW can be, as my own child went through it. It is a painful and debilitating condition that can leave its victims feeling helpless and alone. My friend has been dealing with this for years, and now she is facing the additional challenge of losing her sight for good.
As a mom of three children, I can only imagine the challenges that my friend is facing right now. She has all but $500 saved to get the surgery she desperately needs, which costs $3300 for each eye. She has already exhausted all her resources on medical treatments, and she is now turning to the community for help.
As a community, we can come together and help this mom get the surgery she needs to restore her vision and improve her quality of life. Your donation will go towards paying for the surgery, post-operative care, and any other expenses that may arise.
Please consider donating whatever you can to help my friend get the cataract surgery she needs. Your donation will make a huge difference in her life and the life of her child.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and for your generosity. Let's help a mom in need and give her the gift of sight.
Here is Ms. Lindseys story
I've had eczema my whole life. I'm allergic to just about everything you can think of. My flare ups happen quite often and I have been hospitalized more times than I can count. year after year Prednisone was always the answer. I honestly don't remember a time when I was steroid free. last week I woke up and couldn't see. I honestly just thought I had something in my eye, until rinsing them did absolutely nothing. I immediately went to the eye doctor and was told I have steroid induced cataracts on both eyes and they are both getting progressively worse. After getting the news I felt like my whole world fell apart right in that drs office. My only option at this point is lasik to remove the cataracts and hopefully restore my vision. It's $3300 for each eye and thankfully insurance is covering most of it. I still have to pay out of pocket $350 for each eye. It feels like my life has come to a complete stop. My heart is absolutely shattered. I look at my beautiful little girls face and can't even see it. I am a strong believer in God's timing being perfect but right now I feel defeated but I believe in the power of prayer and I am praying every second of every. If any one can help in anyway I will be forever grateful.
