Help Lindy and Buffy

Dearly Beloveds,

We are asking for your hand in financially supporting our dear friends Lindy and Buffy through a tough spot. Lindy has endlessly given her time and talents to the communities she is a part of, commonly behind the scenes or behind the bar; she supports openly without requiring acknowledgment. If you have the pleasure, you know how funny, crafty, and kind she is. Buffy is the luckiest dog to have Lindy as her person. Let's help them out!

On November 18th, Lindy finally underwent a 7-hour spinal surgery after years of increasing chronic pain led her to a heavy diagnosis. Her surgery was to stabilize her neck to protect dangerous degenerative areas in her spine as well as hopefully relieve her of some pain.

In big doctor words: she was diagnosed with Klippel-Feil syndrome, Cervicalgia, chronic pain and cervical spondylosis with myelopathy for which she underwent a C4-5 anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF) with long segment anterior plate

Lindy's recovery is intense and estimated to be 8-10 weeks, with the first of many follow-up appointments coming at the 6 week mark to assess. She cannot work during this time and could not work the week leading up to her surgery.

The weekend before her surgery we learned Buffy has 4 Mast Cell Tumors that are cancerous and need removal and pathology done to determine if there are any other issues.

We set a goal of $10k to help Lindy pay for Buffy's surgery on top of her regular living expenses while being unable to work for many weeks.
