Help Linley's home, farm & animals - Taree floods
Donation protected

Yesterday was Linley's 60th birthday. It was a birthday she'll never forget.
Last Saturday, water inundated her farm and home as the banks of the Manning River burst on to Dumaresq Island. The house was filled with 40cm of water and mud. Linley was stranded alone in her bedroom with her two dogs and cat for 24 hours and isolated for 4 days before emergency services were able to reach her.
Yesterday Linley spent her 60th birthday cleaning up the mess and devastation left behind. The flood took out her spectacular veggie garden, drowned many of her beloved chickens and two new born calves, ruined her car, lawn mower and tractor and irreplaceable family belongings.
Linley is a resilient, hard-working and loving mother/friend/daughter/farmer/vet nurse/conservationist who is passionate about sustainability and regenerative agriculture. She has put endless effort in to creating a sustainable homestead and farm. It has almost all been decimated and taken back to square one.
Linley would be very grateful for any small donation to help her clean-up and repair as she begins her long journey to re-create the sustainable farm and haven she had before this disaster.
Thank you from Linley's family Angus, James & Maddey
