Help Lisa Bierman with Medical and Monthly Bills

Hi, my name is Jena Bierman (daughter of Lisa Alascia Bierman) and I am trying to assist my mom with paying medical bills, rent, cellphone bill, cable, etc.

On December 16th 2021, my mom was diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma (Bile Duct/Liver Cancer) Stage 4. Before December 16th, my mom was a very healthy, active and hard working 60 year old. This diagnosis came as a huge shock to her and our family. We had no evidence that something like this was going on. My mom began treatment right away with the Oncology team at Mercy Hospital. She has had her first round of chemo, immunotherapy and will proceed with radiation and additional chemo in the upcoming weeks. Her chemo is very extensive (around 7 hours long) and she is incredibly sick for the days following. Because of this, as well as 2-3 appointments weekly, it is impossible for her to work. We have applied for disability income, however, she will not receive a check for a few months. This raises many obstacles for us, as we need her income in order to pay her copays, medical bills and her regular monthly bills.

We made the decision to come here for help. We understand that times are tough for everyone and we do not expect anything. Individually, I have decided that my mom’s only priority is to fight to live. I do not want her to bare the stress of finances. She does not deserve the card that was dealt to her, however, our family believes very strongly in the Lord and the power of prayer. We have faith that God is walking with her on this journey.
