Help Lisa fight Stage IV Colon Cancer

On May 29th, 2024, Lisa Smith, a mother of two, was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer. The diagnosis came shortly after a life-threatening crisis with type I diabetes.

Lisa enjoys working and caring for those who are unable to care for themselves. She cannot wait to get back to it. Lisa is also an active member of Delta Sigma Theta (Divine 9), and lives a life of great character and discipline reflective of their creed.

Since the diagnosis, Lisa has been unable to work. Bills are piling up, including medical. Treatments are currently underway. Her daughters would love nothing more than to ease Lisa’s worries by assisting her financially as she fights this beast!

When 1000 hearts come together and sow a seed of just $20 each, we will have met a financial goal that will help to keep her afloat, and ensure her baby girl graduates high school with limited worries.
