Help Lisa Militello DePaul with Medical Expenses

Lisa was first diagnosed with Breast Cancer in September of 2015. After extensive treatment--including chemotherapy, a mastectomy and reconstruction--she was overjoyed to enter remission in the Spring of 2016.

Lisa continued treatment via daily medications and monthly infusions. She was thrilled to resume her life as she knew it. She returned to work as a primary teacher at Honeoye Central School and became a mom to 3 beautiful children.

Then, in June 2022, Lisa's cancer unfortunately returned. It also had spread to her lymph nodes. This demanded that Lisa stop working and focus on her aggressive treatment protocol. She faced 12 weeks of intensive chemotherapy. On January 10, 2023 she also had a bilateral mastectomy, as well as the removal of many lymph nodes. Once recovered from this, she faces 5-7 weeks of daily radiation.

As one would expect, Lisa has been unable to return to work in order to focus on her treatment and recovery. This, coupled with extensive unexpected medical costs, has led to added financial stress.

It is our hope to raise funds to alleviate some stress from Lisa's already "full plate". We are hoping to specifically focus on raising money to offset medical costs and allow her to focus on her health, healing and family.
