Help Lisa Fleegle Rebuild After Unimaginable Loss

HELP!!!

Sometimes life is stranger than fiction. If I did not personally know Lisa’s family, I would seriously question this story, but it is all true. Lisa has suffered one tragedy after another!

• Her dad died two years ago, in 2022, while her mom was suffering from metastatic ovarian cancer

• Then cancer took her mom’s life in March of this year, 2024

• While Lisa was grieving the loss of her parents, her 29-year-old daughter Brianna, mother of five children ranging in age from infant to 12 years, died suddenly in mid-June 2024, from complications from severe kidney disease. This was just three months after her mom died. Lisa then had to pay for funeral and burial expenses. Imagine this overwhelming expense – there was no life insurance

• To add to her overwhelming, unbearable, emotional pain, Lisa’s best friend Kat DIED ONE DAY AFTER Lisa’s daughter Brianna died. This too was sudden and unexpected

• Brianna’s five children went to live with their fathers after Brianna’s death, but then the father of the 11- and 12-year-old boys died suddenly in mid-August 2024, leaving these two children as orphans

• Amid this painful chaos, days after the death of her grandsons’ dad, Lisa had to hospitalize her 10-month-old granddaughter for a few days. Her granddaughter who was in ICU with lung problems was born 3 months prematurely

• Then the last week of August 2024, Lisa’s apartment in Lewisville caught fire from malfunctioning electrical in the wall. She lost everything! There was no rental insurance. She feels blessed that everyone was safe.

Although Lisa has a full-time job, the financial needs have become unbearable. The emotional needs are even more overwhelming. Lisa’s strength and endurance through all the pain has been driven by her determination to provide for her grandchildren. But she can’t do it alone. Donations of basic furnishings have been generously donated by the community, but your prayers and financial support are greatly needed.
