Help Lisa Salinas Battle Pancreatic Cancer

Dear Family and Friends,

We’re reaching out to ask for your support for our dear Lisa Salinas as she battles stage IV pancreatic cancer. This heartbreaking diagnosis has shaken us to our core, but we’re uniting to fight, and we need your help now more than ever.

What began as what Lisa thought was a minor stomachache quickly turned into something far more serious when the pain didn’t subside. On October 28, 2024, after a series of tests, doctors discovered a mass on her pancreas and a mass on her liver. A biopsy confirmed the devastating news: Stage IV pancreatic cancer, which had metastasized to her liver.

This diagnosis has been a crushing blow to Lisa, her children - Dametrick 27, Joseph 26, Bryson 13, and Samantha 12 - and all who love her. But true to her spirit, Lisa is facing this battle with the same strength, unwavering faith, and endless love she brings to everything she does. The odds are tough, but we are not giving up, and Lisa isn’t giving up! We need your support to help her continue this fight.

If you know Lisa, you know it’s impossible not to be drawn to her: she radiates positivity, generosity, and an energy that’s truly infectious. If you’re ever looking for her in a crowd, just listen for her laugh; it’s unmistakable.

She’s the one who remembers every birthday, the first to show up and lend a hand, and the friend who fills even the smallest moments with joy. Lisa is the one you turn to when you need help with anything or just need a good laugh.

To us, Lisa is everything: a devoted mother, a beautiful daughter, a loving sister, a fun and selfless aunt, and a friend who would drop anything to be there for you.

Lisa has begun chemotherapy in Illinois, but ongoing care will require frequent travel to MD Anderson in Houston. The cost of travel, treatment, and everyday expenses are quickly adding up. While we’re doing everything we can to support Lisa and her family, we’re reaching out to ask for your help to ease some of the financial strain.

We’ve set up this GoFundMe campaign to help ensure Lisa can focus on her health and recovery without added worry. All donations will go directly to a fund to cover:

• Medical expenses, including chemotherapy and treatment costs

• Travel expenses for treatment in Houston

• Daily living expenses
