# Help Little Isaiah Recover from a Holiday Nightmare

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-hearted Strangers,

My name is Pav, and I am the auntie of a beautiful 3-year-old boy named Isaiah. I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a desperate need for your support. What was supposed to be a joyful holiday in Turkey has turned into a nightmare that we never imagined.

### Our Story

Isaiah traveled to Turkey, hoping for a wonderful time at what was advertised as a 5-star hotel. Unfortunately, due to poor hygiene at the hotel, Isaiah fell seriously ill. He developed gangrene in his appendix, which required emergency surgery. During this ordeal, doctors discovered a pus sack attached to his appendix, and he had to endure the intense pain and fear that no child should ever face.

As if that wasn't enough, Isaiah also contracted E. coli, adenovirus and then COVID-19, compounding his health problems. His tiny body has been through so much in such a short time.

### Our Current Situation

Isaiah is now receiving treatment at Birmingham Children's Hospital. The medical team here is doing everything they can, but Isaiah's recovery is expected to take up to a year with unexpected episodes of relapses if Isaiah contracts another virus or infection.He is a brave little fighter, but his journey to health is far from over.

As a parent & a mother watching my sister struggling to manage is unbearable, The stress of seeing our little boy in pain, combined with financial pressures, is overwhelming.
