Help Nikki ( Nicole ) & Her Family

Donation protected
On the night of Monday the 24th of April, 2017 a precious daughter, a sister, an aunt and my beautiful soul of a friend Nicole was allegedly set alight by her fiancé whose name I will not mention.  As many of you I am sure know she was quiet and shy at times, but when she was loud and outgoing oh boy did she put a smile on your face.

A true beauty she is and a gorgeous person in general and one of the most caring and forgiving and loving people I know, who we may all know.  She was a joker, a natural beauty and had her head screwed on in life and knew what she wanted to do and where she wanted to go and she took that ride in life because she had that fire, that fight in her too do well in life. Heartbreakingly, Nicole was flown to Melbourne; she is currently in the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Melbourne in a critical condition with burns to more than 50 per cent of her body.  Not only will she need endless surgery, treatments, physical and mental help if she pulls through this horrible and heartbreaking tragedy but it will be ongoing for the rest of her life and also for her family.

Money should be the last of her families worries right now, as it is a waiting game for Nicole's loved ones and this is one way we can make a little difference, we cannot change anything, we cannot take this back for Nicole or fix her families broken hearts but I and I am sure all of you want to help anyway possible so please share.  Donate absolutely anything, even 10c adds up and could make a difference or just please take the time to have a read.  Thank you, sending my love to you and your entire family Nicole.

We all will see you soon my little Nikki.

The original story is written by her close friend Sheena McLean who so kindly started this appeal for financial help.

My name is Leslie Chambers and I am continuing on with this campaign:

Nicole is my Great-Niece-In-Law and I have known her since birth.  My son and his wife ( who is Nicole’s Auntie ) would often babysit her and bring her to see me and my wife.

All funds collected will be withdrawn by me into a special Banking Account created for Nicole's expenses and will be audited by our accountant.

The distribution of the funds to Nicole will be on a needs basis and will cover items such as :

· Ongoing Medical Expenses including personal requirements such as medications etc.,

· Out of pocket Doctors Fees

· Traveling Costs with the probable Air Fare and associated accommodation costs from Hobart back to Melbourne for Specialist Consultations

· Physiotherapy, Physiological and Rehabilitation when required

· Government funding will be exhausted.

The link below will direct you to The Mercury Newspaper post which will clarify the issue of the Two GoFundMe campaigns which ran simultaneously and caused confusion within the community.
