Help Livingston Collegiate Soccer Score Our Fundraising Goal

I'm Drew Mestelske, and I am the head soccer coach at Livingston Collegiate Academy. Livingston Collegiate Academy is a Collegiate Academies high school located in New Orleans East. This is the third year of our boys' soccer program. We've had two successful seasons, reaching the LHSAA Division III Playoffs in both years. Our team has grown to a roster of 25 boys, many of whom are playing on a team for the first time. In doing so, they are developing their leadership and teamwork skills that will prepare them for college and their future careers. Furthermore, for many of our players that have traveled to New Orleans from Honduras and other nations, Livingston Collegiate is their first experience with education in the United States. The soccer team is a vital part of their community and identity-building journey as a high school student.

Unlike many sports that require a budget or team fees, our team has decided to rely on fundraising alone to support our efforts. In doing so, we recognize the financial situation of our teammates and want everyone to have a fair chance to play.

Your donations are crucial in ensuring this equal opportunity for my students. The funds raised will go to supplying buses to travel to games, renting fields for our home games, and paying referee fees.
