Help Liz & Adam's Long Journey Ahead with Their NICU Twins

Hi everyone, my name is Dani Lane. I am one of the many lucky people that get to call Liz and Adam a friend. We were so happy when they called and told us they were having TWINS! They were due in April of 2025, and then they found out they’re having a boy and a girl!!! Fast forward to January 5th, Lillian (Lilly) Scott Shelley was born at 1:44 AM, weighing in at 1 lb 11 oz and 12.5 in long; Nathan Luke Shelley (Luke) was born at 1:53 AM weighing in at 1 lb 8 oz and 12 in long. Both of these precious babies were born at just 24 weeks. They have a very long road ahead of them.

Lilly is currently at Children’s Hospital in Birmingham, AL. She needs a little extra attention due to unforeseen medical issues. Lilly has a hole in her intestines that has caused a leakage into her stomach. They have placed a drain in hopes to remove all of it and let the hole close itself. Please pray for healing with Lilly, and that God will wrap His hands around her!

Luke is currently at Baptist South in Montgomery, AL. The main focus with Luke is his lungs. Please pray for him and that his lungs will get strong and healthy!

With all of that, Liz and Adam have been placed under more stress than anyone could ever fathom. They had their precious babies early at 24 weeks, and now are having to travel to see both of them (Birmingham and Montgomery). They have had to acquire an apartment in Birmingham recently and take a lot of time away from work. If you know Liz and Adam, you know that they are the most kind and caring people. They will go above and beyond for the people they love. I am asking for all of their community to now give back! They need to spend this time focusing on their babies.
