Help Liz during her recovery

Hello all. I am doing this GoFundMe today for Liz. In April Liz went in to the hospital for a herniated disc. Shortly after her surgery, the area went septic. She has been hospitalized four times in the last two months. Liz is now on home IV infusions four hours a day. Each session is  ttwo hours long, twelve hours apart.

Liz is a single mother to three beautiful boys ages 4, 15 and 16. While her parents are close, they are elderly. She faces many restrictions from her medical issues including not being able to work and her quality time with her children has been greatly limited. Two teenage boys home for summer and paying to keep her youngest in preschool, Liz is struggling to catch up on the bills and keep groceries in the fridge.

Liz is one of the few Licensed Clinical Social Workers in the United States who specializes in treating the Troubled Teen Industry. As a teen she attended the Family school in New York State. After experiencing the abusive nature of these boarding schools, she has dedicated her life to helping others who have been through the same thing horrific experiences. Her and her close friend John legally fought for years to get the family school closed so no one else would have to endure its abuse. Here is Liz's story in New York Times

She was deployed to Queens NY and the Rio Grande Valley in Texas on Covid 19 Rapid Response Teams. She worked for three years in Emergency Medical Services and worked with returning combat veterans as well as their families for eleven years in a federal capacity.

Liz is a selfless, determined woman who needs our help. She has spent her life helping others asking for nothing in return. I'm hoping this page can get her and her young boys the funding they need to relieve some of the stress during these hard times.

****UPDATE****

A week ago Liz had a stroke at some point during her treatment. She is home now waiting to see how/if her kidneys will heal. She has lost vision in half of her right eye. She is suffering with constant headaches and side effects from the medications. She is still dealing with Osteomyelitis in her spine and will most likely require another surgery down the road.
