Help Liza Marie Martinez fight cancer!

Liza has just been diagnosed with an ultra rare cancer called Uterine PEComa. It’s an aggressive sarcoma of the uterus with only 38 reported cases in literature (ever), which is the reason it was misdiagnosed in the initial pathology reports. The scarcity of published cases makes treatment options difficult because her treatment will require a highly specialized cancer team. She was referred to MD Anderson’s Sarcoma Center but unfortunately her insurance will not cover any medical expenses at MD Anderson. The medical bills at MD Anderson are too costly to sustain treatment and her local cancer team has never seen this cancer before.


Over the past few months she has undergone two surgeries and will undergo treatment to fight cancer. Liza is a warrior, a devout Christian, a 32 year old mother of a beautiful two year old girl, and a inspiration to us all. She is uplifting, giving, positive and always grateful for all the blessings in her life.
