Help Lizz Rebuild Wild and Wonderful Play Cafe

This is Lizz, the owner of Wild and Wonderful Play Cafe.

On Christmas morning 2024, I learned a fire had started in the play cafe - destroying almost everything. As some of you likely know, I built and curated everything in that space myself and therefore was emotionally attached to it all. To watch that hard work disappear in a matter of hours was devastating.

I have good insurance and a great landlord who is helping me rebuild everything and bring back this space to its happy glory we know and love. That will take time though, and funds.

I'm asking the community of Jefferson County and beyond for any donations to help us through this time and bring the space back even better than before.

The funds here will not go directly to my paycheck or my family - and to be completely transparent, I have not once ever paid myself in this business. The fundraising money will help with our monthly bills that must continue, underestimation from insurance or spotting things up front so we can get open again as quickly as possible.

I'm working with a local nonprofit owner and vow to donate any money we don't use to this nonprofit.
