Help local abused/neglected animals

Hi! My name is Lydia Heskje. I am a freshman at Kennedy high school, and am currently working on my 20-time project for LA. A 20-time project is a research project where the teacher allows you to pick a research question, followed by a hands-on project. You then only spend 20% or 1 day per week working on the project in class. The research topic I chose is, what drives humans to harm animals. The two main steps I took into account when choosing my research question were, the fact that I have always had a very strong interest in the medical field and, a topic that I would be able to find a good amount of research on to make a final product out of. For my hands-on project I have created a go fund me page to raise money for our local humane society. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Cedar Valley Humane Society to help the abused/neglected animals and even strays experience a brighter, better life.
