Help local family get a reliable car after loss

Hi, my name is Kim. I am fundraising for my friend and coworker. When her tragic story unfolded before me, and I see how hard she works for her 7 children, my heart sinks for them.
My friend Simone had a beautiful fun loving family. She was with her life long partner and father of her kids for 15 years. Not only was he the glue that held the family together he was also the breadwinner. Last year He was tragically taken from them in a senseless road rage incident. It put the family in rough situation, emotionally and also financially. After the tragic loss of her fiancé, Simone found out she was pregnant. She now at no fault of her own, is a single mom now raising 7 children without their loving father. She went through that pregnancy grieving and alone. Her pregnancy was high risk which meant she could not work. At the same time, she had 6 grieving children as well, the youngest being 2 years old. Simone, being their only family and support system also prevented her return to work.
The resilience this woman showed was heartfelt, she finally returned to work, being a care giver to others, after the delivery of her little girl. In the months prior, she has held her head high for her 7 children. She worked third shift at night, and In the day tended to her children. I watched her determination to get all of them baptized. On nights when her job needed her, she would come in and if her children needed her too, she would bring her little one with her.
One of her children has special needs which requires a lot of time, patience and appointment. Simone had one working car her and her eldest son used to get to work, and take care of the children. Her son was involved in a car accident that was no fault of his own. Another driver ran a stop sign totaling the family’s only vehicle. But that hasn’t stopped Simone from getting to work. She has been riding a moped to get to and from work trying to support her family. She is so determined to not give up.
As the colder days creep forward, I know she cannot keep on like this. It’s time to come together as a community and help this struggling family from under this cloud of darkness.
She has been struggling to get to work, her kids to school, her injured son to doctors appointments, and her daughter to her special needs therapies. All of this during the day, while working at night.
I see her smile. The way she loves and cares for her kids, and her fight to raise them well. If anyone deserves the help via a GoFundMe, it’s Simone and her kids. She will use this money appropriately and be forever grateful.
Thank you in advance. Let’s help this hard working mama get a reliable warm car before the cold Wisconsin weather sets in.
