Help Hunger Hero Mark Lisi’s Family

Mark Lisi was a coworker and a dear friend who passed recently after a rough bout with an aggressive cancer. .

In the end, Mark’s body was not strong enough for treatment. He was visited by many and we believe he felt the love and appreciation he deserved.

Mark worked at the Food Bank of the Southern Tier for 11 years and in that time he has fed hundreds of thousands of community members. In our eyes, he is a hero. In snow, sleet, cold rain, and hot summers—Mark worked tirelessly to make sure people in the Southern Tier were fed. He scouted sites, recruited volunteers, and created strong and long-lasting relationships with the people he encountered.
