Help Local Trans Woman After Job Loss

Hello Friends,

I really didn't think it would come to this, but I really need your help right now. After nearly two years of dealing with hostility at my job, I was fired unfairly over exaggerated claims related to my disability. I was mislead about advancement opportunities from the get go and repeatedly denied promotion for either having to defend myself from coworkers’ transphobia or simply not monitoring my tone (which is difficult as an autistic person). I’ve had so many talks with management and was never heard, and they repeatedly blamed me for being too heated. The straw that broke the camel’s back was me having a history of GI issues that keep me in the bathroom for long periods of time, and they fired me for this even though it was something I told them about early in my employment with them.

So I am starting this because I need a little help getting through at least the next month while I look for other employment. This money would go directly toward food, housing, and medical care.
