Help Lockie and his Family

Hi, my name is Melissa Menton and I have set up this fundraiser to help support a friend of mine Lauren Kirk and her family. I am also setting this up with the help and support of Laurens sister, Rowan.

Lauren and her family recently suffered every families worst nightmare when her son Lockie had a serious car accident.

Lockie was flown to Aintree Hospital in Liverpool with head injuries and is still unconscious. The family have no real idea how each day will be for Lockie and no clear idea of how he will recover from this.

All we can do is hope and pray and we ask anyone reading this to also do the same, even if you can’t donate please just keep him in your thoughts and pray for him and his family during this time.

The power of positive thinking is huge. ✨

Lauren and Dan have 4 children Harrison, Doona, Loghlin (Lockie) and little Torin.

Myself and Rowan (Lockies Auntie) hope this fundMe page will help support the family with any travel expenses,bills etc that they require whilst Lockie is away in Hospital. Anything at all would be so very greatfull. Lauren and the family are overwhelmed with the support and kind messages they have received and are still receiving since the accident.

If we can do anything at all to help and support them and to loosen any burden of financial worries/stress due to travel etc that would be the least we can do as a small community to help support such a lovely family.

“Lockie is a lovely lad with a big smile & a big heart, always happy to do anything for anyone, especially for his grandad if it involves driving the quad or the tractor. He's in his first year as an apprentice plumber and doing really well, he enjoys his work and gets on well with his boss who is very supportive in his work and training. He has loads of friends and is a best friend to his brothers & sister, he loves his music & busting some moves, he gives the best hugs and all his family can’t wait for him to be hugging again.”
