Help LOFT Staff Recover from Hurricane Helene

Donation protected
The LOFT has been a beacon of joy in downtown Asheville for the last 28 years.

Due to the unprecedented destruction Hurricane Helene has caused to our little mountain town, we have had to close our doors until further notice.

All of our employees and our shop have been without running water and internet access for weeks, and some still have no power. We are also suddenly without income. We look forward to opening up our doors again as soon as possible, but in the meantime, we need help to support our 14 employees to be able to pay rent, utilities, and purchase food.

Our goal is to raise $1,400 for each of the 14 employees at the LOFT. All money raised will be distributed evenly among the staff. The average cost of living in Asheville is $1,750 a month.

My name is Ellie Schreiner; I am a manager at the LOFT, and have worked there since 2010. The money raised by this campaign will be split equally amongst the 14 employees of the LOFT to help cover the loss of income caused by Hurricane Helene.
