Help Logan Kortgard Represent Minnesota's 7th Congressional District at the Democratic National Convention.

Hello everyone!

I am excited to share that I have been elected as a delegate for Minnesota's Seventh Congressional District to the 2024 Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Chicago!

My name is Logan Kortgard, a proud native of Willmar, MN, and a lifelong rural DFLer. I got my start in democratic politics in 2016 when I attended precinct caucuses for the first time and caucused for Hilary Clinton in the 2016 election. In 2020, I continued this journey by running for the MN State House out of my hometown of Willmar, because I believe that rural communities deserve to have representatives who actually listen to them and who value the everyday, working Minnesotans over corporate interests and and the elite. Since then, I’ve been dedicated to working to elect democrats across rural Minnesota.

Currently, I serve as the Vice Chair of the CD7 DFL, a director of the DFL Rural Caucus, and a member of the State DFL Constitution, Rules, and Bylaws Committee. In these roles, I’ve focused on improving our party, increasing transparency, and advocating for young, rural Minnesotans.

It's crucial to elect young people who reflect our communities within the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party and represent the future of our country. At 26, I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to represent MN-07, champion progressive values, and bring the voices of rural Minnesota Democrats to the national stage.

However, attending the DNC comes with significant expenses, including travel, lodging, and other related costs. I am reaching out for your support to help cover these expenses.
