Help Logan Relocate to Make His Dreams Come True
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Laura and I am Logan’s mom. His who life he has wanted to do nothing but be an engineer, ever since he saw his first Thomas movie at 1 1/2 years old and went to visit the Daylight steam engine at ORHF. He has never wavered. Logan has faced many challenges over the years, but he never stoped trying to pursue his dream. He started volunteering at Oregon Rail Heritage Foundation (ORHF) when he was in high school. There, Oregon Pacific Railroad let him drive his first train. It was a dream come true and he knew then, that this was what he definitely wanted to try to pursue. As some of you know, it can be very difficult to get into the railroad, especially at 20 years old, and little work experience. He did not let that stop him. He has been applying over and over for different positions. He was finally hired by BNSF in Montana for the conductor trainee program. Once there he will be traveling back and forth between Montana and Kanas City for his training. Conductor is the first step to becoming an engineer. Logan will have to relocate by Thanksgiving weekend. His car broke down this week, so now he has no car to move to Montana with and the repairs are going to be very spendy. If you feel like you might want to help Logan get started in his career, we would appreciate it. Thank you for your help in advance.
