Help Lois Shafer Rebuild After Hurricane Milton

My name is James Shafer and I live in Ft. Worth, TX. This fundraiser is for my mother, Lois Shafer. She lives in Dade City, FL, and is 78 years old and has many medical issues that require full-time care. She lives on a fixed limited income. The mobile home has been in the family since the '90s. and was left to our mom by my grandmother when she passed. The picture was taken of mom's mobile home the day after hurricane Milton.

The damage you see in the picture is the result of hurricane Milton hitting Dade City, FL on October 9, 2024. Unfortunately, our mother did not have homeowners insurance at the time of this storm due to her living on a fixed income. We are trying to raise money to help offset the cost to repair the home from the damages that were caused by this storm. As you see from the picture the house sustained a substantial amount of damage and has caused a huge financial burden. At this time, our family has been trying to assist with the cleanup and repairs to the best of our abilities. Unfortunately, the cost is quickly exceeding the amount we are able to contribute.
