Help LongLake Families Rebuild After Fire

The three families wanted me to pass along their gratitude for everyone’s generosity. They feel so loved and supported and are so grateful! We are closing down this site tonight so we can disperse the funds evenly between the three families. Again a huge thank you for all of the donations!

We are raising money for three familiar who had devastating losses to their homes on 8/30/24 in LongLake neighborhood in Raleigh as a result of fire from a lightning strike. Within minutes, three homes went up in flames. We stood in sadness and shock watching the houses burn with our dear friends who own one of the houses. They will not be able to return to their homes and are going to have to completely start over. Thankfully, all of the families are safe. Please help us raise money to help all three families get back on their feet. We will divide the money raised evenly between the three families. Thank you in advance for your generosity as we all step up to help our sweet neighbors during this difficult time for them.

Update: 9/3/24

A huge thank you to everyone on behalf of the families! They’re blown away by the love & support they’re receiving! We started with a $20,000 goal and passed it within two days! So we then moved it to $25,000 and passed it today! So now we’ve increased our goal to $30,000 and plan on keeping the fundraiser open for one more week to see if we can meet this new goal and maybe even pass it! We’ll keep it open for donations through 9/10/24. Again, many thanks for your amazing generosity!
