Help Longtime Volunteer FF EMR Matt Schmidt

Hi!

My name is Jessie Mabie. I am the EMS Service Director for MWFC. We are making this go fund me for Mathias "Matt" Schmidt. Matt has been a long time member of both Manitowish Waters Fire Company and Winchester Fire Department. Matt recently was sent by ambulance to Aspirus Wausau Hospital with a life threatening infection in his foot. He has had to have multiple surgeries and is facing more in the near future. He will be out of work for some time to come.

Matt has always been someone we can count on in the departments. Going on tons of calls, always at trainings and meetings, always there for the fundraisers. He has dedicated his life to help his community and now its our time to help him!

I will be setting up an account at Woodtrust Bank in Manitowish Waters WI and will add that information once I have it. All money raised will go to help Matt with daily expenses, bills, travel back and forth to the Dr when he gets discharged, which won't be for a while.

We so much appreciate the help!
