Help Lora and the Donaldson Family Crush Cancer

Hello,

I’m Jodi Sewell, and I am Lora’s (and JD’s) friend from the Naval Academy. Lora and I swam together, although she was a sprinter and I swam butterfly so I was always jealous of her “easy” practices. Here we are, 25 years later, and Lora is facing a challenge that no one foresaw- beating colorectal cancer.

To beat it, she will be receiving treatment at the Mayo Clinic which necessitates living in Minnesota for about two months. The family is moving her up there from VA the first week in March so treatments can start as soon as possible. They will return to Virginia for school, with JD visiting as much as possible, and a family member staying with Lora for the duration of her 5 day a week treatments.

I know that Team Donaldson can crush this dumb cancer, but I also know that they can’t do it alone. So I’ve set up this page to help defray costs of travel, food, lodging and medical care. All monies will go directly to the Donaldson Family. The need is emergent, especially your prayers. Thank you.
