On Dec. 13, 2021 L’Oreal Hawkes-William’s husband, Dennis, suffered a stroke. He was transported to the hospital and underwent emergency surgery for a blood clot in his brain. Last week was very touch and go for L’Oreal’s husband. Thankfully, Dennis has woken up in the past few days and is showing positive signs. L’Oreal has been informed that Dennis will have long road to recovery and will require in-home care and rehabilitation services for the foreseeable future. She has been told every stroke is different and it will take time to discover what changes are permanent or temporary.
We are hoping to raise enough money to cover 6 months of rent, food, and other basic expenses so that she does not have to worry about losing her home while she supports her husband and children through this extremely difficult ordeal.
We are hoping to raise enough money to cover 6 months of rent, food, and other basic expenses so that she does not have to worry about losing her home while she supports her husband and children through this extremely difficult ordeal.
The first couple of months are the most important for Dennis rehabilitation wise and he needs his wife to be able to be at his side without worrying about paying the rent, medical premiums, food, car insurance, etc.
Dennis was the primary financial provider for his family. They have three children, one with special needs. L’Oreal has been at her husband’s side from 7 am to 10 pm every day.
