Help Lorenzo Berardinetti get back on his feet!

Funds raised beyond the original $25,000 goal for Lorenzo Berardinetti will be handed over to the Association of Former Parliamentarians, which will be set aside in a trust for other former elected officials who fall on hard times.

We know Lorenzo Berardinetti through his work as an elected official in our community.

First elected in 1988 as a Councillor in the City of Scarborough, Lorenzo was elected to Toronto City Council in 1998 and, later, in 2003, as a Member of Parliament representing the people of Scarborough-Southwest at Queen's Park.

Under the leadership of Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty and Kathleen Wynne, Lorenzo served as the Parliamentary Assistant Minister of Labour (2010-2011) and PA to the Attorney General (2011–2018).

Since leaving office in 2018, Lorenzo has fallen on hard times like so many Canadians.

Despite our various party affiliations, we believe we are a political family and it’s important for us to look out for one another, which is why we’re reaching out to current and past elected officials, past candidates, current and former staffers, and friends.

We know Lorenzo through his work as a city builder and service to the people of the Toronto and it would mean a lot to us if you would assist us with a financial contribution through this GoFundMe page.

Proceeds will assist us in securing an apartment unit so we can get him out of a shelter and purchasing some basic furniture.
