Help Lori and Trent rebuild and recover

Donation protected
In the wee hours of July 3rd, my mother-in-law's life changed forever. Her home of more than 30 years, where she raised her two children, where she shared with her boyfriend, Trent, and their sweet pet pig Noah, went up in flames. About 7 weeks before, Lori received the gift of life through a kidney transplant. Since the transplant she's been recovering at home, looking to return to work next week while balancing a strict medicinal regimen and a fluctuating sleep schedule. Her night-owl tendencies may be the only reason why this story isn't more tragic than it is. Shortly after midnight, Lori smelled smoke and found the side of her home in flames. Lori and Trent were able to escape barefoot and in shock. Despite the incredibly quick response by Bismarck Fire Department, unfortunately, their pet Noah required humane euthanasia at the scene. The home and most of its contents are a total loss.

Rebuilding the past nearly 40 years of your life on the heels of being given new life is an incredible challenge. The family is setting up an account to help Lori and Trent rebuild, and we hope the community will rally behind this amazing woman and her family.
