Help Lori Chapman with ALS Accessibility

Dear all,
We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts but hopeful spirits as we share Lori Chapman’s story. Lori, former second grade teacher at Ripley Elementary School who directly touched the lives of many of our community’s own children for 25 years, is currently battling the demoralizing disease of ALS. A selfless mother of three beautiful children who has persevered through relentless adversity in parenthood, Lori has undoubtedly earned the title of loving mother, wife, sister, and friend. Although determined to remain resilient through their journey, the financial strain of the last 2 years since her diagnosis, including but not limited to treatments, medical bills, and expenses to help Lori’s day-to-day life, is an overwhelming obstacle for any family to overcome.
Despite succumbing to a host of challenges unimaginable to the average person, Lori has held steadfast as the pillar of strength, resilience, and selflessness for her family, friends, and community. As she undergoes rigorous treatments and fights tirelessly against the daily changes and diminishment of her nervous system, we are humbly asking for your support to alleviate the financial burden weighing ever-so heavily on their shoulders.
Although a heartbreaking reality to face, ALS is a fatal condition. However, your contributions will help cover medical expenses and help grant Lori greater accessibility in her daily life. Included on her accessibility need-list is a specialized wheelchair and handicap-accessible van and home, as well as the countless other necessities to help her overcome daily challenges. Your generosity will provide the much-needed relief for everyday expenses, allowing Lori to continue to share her famously beautiful smile with her family and to focus on what truly matters– each other and fighting ALS.
Thank you for your compassion, love, and support throughout this journey.
Sincerely,
The Chapman Family
